About Us

BG Aldred has been involved in dogs for 40 yrs as a breeder and trainer of quality German Shepherd Dogs, a certified groomer,internationally published dog show photographer and kennel operator.  She is also currently VP and a founding member of the Okanagan Working Dog Club in BC.

Her training experience includes Schutzhund, KNPV(Royal Dutch Police Service, Ring Sport and CKC.

Associate trainer Kathy Schrauwen has owned a number of dogs, training primarily in Schutzhund work. Kathy also has been a longtime member of the horse racing world. Kathy is the current president of the Okanagan Working Dog Club.

As a breeder Kiefertal Kennel is dedicated to the true working German Shepherd Dog, a strong , loyal, healthy dog that excels in work and family life.
